Here is one of the first images that I created, using the "star trek" shuttlecraft "Archangel." It's shown on a landing platform on the side of a tropical area just south of the equator in South America. The poor quality of the image is due to the crap camera that i had at the time.
The landing platform was actually there when I took the pic, so i just had to play with it a bit.
"-nice, only prob is they seem to be hovering, need to have some landing gear in view or something-
"
yes indeed it seems to hover, but very nice, iam trying to desing shuttles etc and other small star trek space crafts but i just draw them i cant 3d model , i find it hard enough to draw 3d

I agree with GraphicBrat- the grittiness works well. As for the hovering issue, the foremost shuttle seems to have more of a problem with that than the farther back one. Also, the glints on the gray boxes seem a bit too bright.
Overall, well done! I've been meaning to try a 3D+photo work for a while, but haven't yet.

I really like this. It's difficult incorporating CG graphic with real environments and the grain actually makes it look like it's from an episode in terms of a screen cap. Very cool.
